Enable NTFS write in Mac

Enabling NTFS is mac is possible. But it is needlessly convoluted that I keep forgeting the steps. This is a note to help my future self.

Get info on the connected drive

diskutil list

Create new location to mount the drive

sudo mkdir /Volumes/disk2s1

Mount drive with experimental NTFS support

sudo mount -t ntfs -o rw,auto,nobrowse /dev/disk2s1 /Volumes/disk2s1

Access the drive

Use finder’s Go option from navbar and type /Volumes
