This is the second week I am going for the training with Nikhil to prepare for a Marathon on November 1st. Though the 10 km marathon seems to be daunting especially for someone like me who does close no exercise, I managed to walk 5 Kms at nearly full speed the first day itself. I guess I should trust iPhone’s claim that I walk 4.5 Kms daily!
Perhaps I am estimating it wrong, but I think with 2 more weeks like this I should be able to at least walk and complete the Marathon! Yes, its laughable that I am considering 10 km walk as some sort of an accomplishment when others are preparing for completing first. But the fact is I haven’t been having any sort of exercise in years and I hope to stick to the plan and complete it.
Assume making a record of the attempt will have me stick to it.
